Outcomes
- Community Outreach Coordinator conducted bone and breast health classes, developed advertising information, installed educational displays with pamphlets.

Hospital purchased new diagnostic imaging machines and software to track and follow-up with patients on bone density and mammogram testing.

Contracted with Nurse Educator to conduct prenatal classes, particularly with Hispanic community.

71 prenatal mothers educated.
456 received bone density and mammography screening.
199 participated in breast and bone education classes.
Cost Effectiveness
Three cases of previously undetected breast lumps would have cost well above $95,000 for treatment for more advanced case.
