Project Description: |

GRESC Wellness project serves 4th and 5th grade students in Crittenden, Lee, Monroe, Phillips, Prairie, and Saint Frances counties providing health and wellness education. |
Outcomes
- Program implemented in fourth and fifth grade classrooms in all 10 cooperative area school districts.

48 classrooms participated in pre-and post-evaluation surveys.

Increased knowledge and improved positive behaviors in approximately 7 percent of participants.
Lives Affected
800 to 1,000 students benefited from this educational program.
Cost Effectiveness
The program cost an average of $166 per student reached. Indicators from formal evaluations show an overall increase in knowledge and health behaviors.
