Outcomes
- Trained 555 early elementary school personnel.

Published nutrition curriculum, activity video/DVD and activity CD and distributed to 24 early education programs.

Enhanced and expanded the Web site, resulting in 225 contacts per month;

Conducted parent meetings with 267 family members to discuss risks of being obese and possible interventions.

Used media, health fairs, exhibits and speaking engagements to promote wellness.

Direct program services and intervention affected 267 family members.
Cost Effectiveness
Over 50% of children participating in the intervention programs registered significant reductions in weight.
